Build and Conquer Iron: Resource Menu, Mining & Construction Uses

The October 12 Mine panel lists 200 coal per minute with a chance of iron, not a dedicated fixed iron output. It needs workers, energy, water and road access.

Where is the recorded iron source?

In ItzVexo’s recording at 4:46, the route is Civilian → Resources → Mine. Its tooltip says 200 coal per minute with a chance of iron. The exact Mine label matters: this evidence does not show a separately named Iron Mine or a guaranteed 200-iron rate.

Mine lists 200 coal per minute with a chance of iron; iron probability and quantity are not disclosed.

What does the Mine require?

The same panel lists 30 energy, water, 5 workers and $14 upkeep per pay cycle, placement within 4 studs of a road, and a recorded limit of 12 per city. It displays $2,000 and 32 seconds to build. Those are dated session values. They do not describe an iron conversion recipe or a probability multiplier for additional mines.

Can you forecast how much iron the Mine will supply?

Not from this panel alone. The source does not give the drop probability or quantity, so the production planner cannot turn 200 coal/minute into a deterministic iron forecast. Track the actual iron inventory over a defined period and inspect any further in-game explanation before planning a guaranteed output.

Iron has a concrete use in the October 1 M16 research panel: manufacturing lists 5 Iron per item, alongside money and production time. Keep that weapon input separate from the Mine’s probabilistic output. An unmet iron requirement is not necessarily a failure of the visible coal rate.
