Build and Conquer Fuel: Small and Medium Refinery Data

Compare recorded refinery output, oil and fuel storage, workers, power, upkeep and city gates without inventing a conversion ratio.

The selected small-refinery placement quote is $18,300, while its sidebar shows $18,000 in the same frame. We retain that discrepancy rather than choose the cheaper number for a payback claim. The medium quote is $38,500 in that recording. This short was published September 27, 2026; its inspected frames were checked October 15. They are not asserted to represent today’s server balance.

How do you set up the fuel stage?

  1. Inspect your available Oil Pump under Civilian Resources; distinguish crude oil extraction from fuel refining.
  2. Open Civilian → Industrial and select the refinery you can currently unlock.
  3. Meet its road, water, energy and worker requirements, then inspect its local stores and operating state.
  4. Check fuel demand at the receiving factory or product before ordering a batch.

The fuel storage field is a capacity, not a guarantee that a new refinery contains that much fuel. The extraction modifier is printed on the refinery card, but these frames do not prove how multiple modifiers combine or an oil conversion formula. Do not multiply an Oil Pump output by that percentage and call the result verified fuel throughput.

How many refineries would an output target need?

Using only the displayed nominal rates, a hypothetical 180-fuel-per-minute target requires six small refineries or two medium refineries. Those configurations list 600 versus 440 energy, 150 versus 120 workers and $600 versus $480 upkeep per pay cycle. This is arithmetic for two fully supplied configurations, not a measured factory test or a claim that demand is always continuous.

The Shahed-236 recipe separately lists 60 fuel per manufactured item. It is a batch cost, not automatically 60 per minute. Enter the intended cadence in the production planner and leave unknown oil consumption blank.
